Location is a plus and a minus - BIG plus is vicinity to the tourist attractions, restaurants and more, literally at your door step. Minus is the noise during the night, hard to sleep really. Breakfast - very good, diversified for a 3star hotel. Staff - smiling, helpful. Rooms - junior suite was spacious, very high ceiling, in good taste, bathroom renovated and clean.
Noise - because of its central location, and lack of air-con and double glazed windows, cars driving by on the cubble stone roads make a lot of noise into the late hours. So if you are sensitive to this, you might be in trouble... a sleeping pill might be a good option...

The old building is fantastic -- and the location is very good for someone visiting Lviv.
Two things stood out -- because of its central location there is a lot of street noise. Beyond that, the inability to truly darken the room made it difficult to sleep in the morning -- and since dawn begins around 4:00 am during the summer, this is truly an issue.

I enjoyed the enchanting atmosphere of the hotel, especially the breakfast with live piano music creating a lovely ambiance. The spacious family room with wrought iron balconies offered stunning views of the Prospect.

Kind staff, nice service, super wi-fi :)
If you care of toilet and shower room, I recommend to book ensuite. They have only one shower booth per a floor. Luckily, you have a small basin at your room.

charming historic hotel near major landmarks and parks
I was captivated by the fine historical architecture and the fact that I could easily stroll to the Lviv Latin Cathedral in just a few steps, while also being close to beautiful park views at almost 2 km away was great. It's a perfect place for single travelers wanting a mix of comfort and convenience.

Location.
No air-conditioning and no fan - did not want to open the window due to street noise. Shower was slow and water temperature fluctuated between hot and cold. No tissue paper and had to ask for toilet paper several times. Only one small rubbish bin provided - located in bathroom. Buffet breakfast could be improved - same every day and could provide better selection. Elevator slow, poky and unreliable. Did not appreciate request to pay on day of arrival and again the next day.

I really enjoyed the design of my room, friendly hotel staff and location (hotel is situated in the historical city centre). The atmospere in "George" is a lit bit misterious and romantic.
There was not a fridge in the room. But it`s not very important or dissapointing for me.
